Draven Von Shadow, the first vampire and master of primordial blood power, was betrayed by the Thirteen Elders a thousand years ago. His power was divided among three dark relics, and he was imprisoned beneath the Black Castle. On a full-moon night, the wood-elf princess Lyriel, the Temple high priestess Seraphina, and the beast queen Morwen awaken him through their blood bonds. After breaking his seal and punishing the traitors, Draven begins a quest to recover the relics.
