Lester and Ković are both national team teammates and rivals on the pitch. After Lester discovers that Ković secretly runs an adult livestream, he blackmails him into becoming his sexual partner. At the training camp, the two engage in a tug-of-war filled with threats, scheming, and raw desire. Ković attempts to turn the tables by setting a trap, but his plan is exposed. They agree to settle things with a shuttle run test—if Ković wins, the arrangement ends. Ković narrowly prevails, but Lester reneges on his promise in public, announcing that they are "friends with benefits," shocking everyone on the scene. A political and sports scandal is thus set in motion.
